Article - CRIME NOVELISTS

As part of a long-term content writing project for Ezvid, Inc., I wrote this 800-word article profiling popular authors of crime fiction. I researched each writer and wrote brief summaries describing their unique styles and interests, and highlighting some notable works from each. The full article is available here, in the “In Depth” section; the text I wrote also serves as the narration for the accompanying video.

Blog Post - Breaking Into A Market

The article below summarizes and streamlines advice presented in the client’s podcast for startup founders. In each episode, the host fields questions from aspiring entrepreneurs; I was responsible for taking the answers and translating them into broadly applicable recommendations for people building their own companies. This article deals with market penetration in a crowded field. You can read the full post on the Launchpeer blog.

SCRIPT - SCP-4419

The client for this project was looking to create an animated YouTube horror video based on an entry from the Creative Commons SCP wiki, and hired me to write the narration. I produced a roughly 1700-word script which balanced the wiki entry’s clinical tone with narrative elements that inspire a slowly building sense of dread. You can check out the live video on the MJV Animations channel.
